Wine and Oscar Wilde

Untitled
"Woman are meant to be loved not understood"
Oscar Wilde

I was at Uncle Alan Chang's daughter's wedding when I heard the bride's father quote the above.
Does this apply to God? Does God happen to have a feminine side, the side we were meant to love, not understand. I wonder...

The wedding was at parkroyal. Grand, jazzy and a great programme would best describe it. I especially love the shiraz 2005 red wine. I can't remember what the white wine was, but the red had a lot smoother texture. Delicious!

Hey Judson,

Ever checked out Tony Campolo's "Carpe Diem: Seize The Day"? There's a chapter in it called "Embracing the Feminine Side of God"

Your thoughts on the quote is quite disturbing. God is absolute.
Not relative and definitely not to be shapened to our whims and fancied wonders about who He might be or why. Time would be well spent by first realising how much of mere mortals we are and submitting ourselves in absolute surrender to the Creator of the Universe . Next, looking to His Word and those who have lived and even most slightly grasped a firm conviction of His nature and that inspiration to get you started, does not, my friend ,come from Oscar Wilde.
