An Update on Form 6 life at SXI

Well, this year... there might be a prom for the form 6. Hopefully it's G Hotel which seems to be the in thing these days. I've taken up the job of organising it. Honestly, I haven't done things like this in ages. God help me. I'm hoping for it to be a big sucess.

Class life has been fun. I really enjoy my class. It's the class that knows how to play hard besides studying, making the torture of form 6 much more bearable.  

I've one more week of school holiday, then it's back to school to face the results of my mid-term exam. Am I ready to face it? I really dunno. Life has been so unpredictable, the things I'm good at I don't do too well, contrary to the things I'm bad at.

Another thing. SXI is kinda special, cause religion is a big thing in the school. Ppl talk religion, the school has religious days, observes moments of silence and has a chapel. I had a few great oppurnities to listen to my friends' view on God and life.

So, that's about it. Nothing much in my life yet. Most days are routine. 

What is the description of ultimate faithfulness?

A husband who loves his wife, constantly bringing her home despite her unending unfaithfulness to him. (Hosea)

A God who does the same. 

Well, this is how life has been for me so far. Allowing myself to be forgiven and brought back, frequently... allowing myself to accept the forgiveness of God and live without shame.

I've been asked to update my blog. But I was thinking, "update what"? I realised the last dozen of entries have been my ramblings of my personal life or some thoughts of mine concerning my relationship with God or other current issues. What else may a blogger update?

Maybe an encouragement to everyone out there. There is hope!

Sometimes we look back and regret the missed oppurtunities. Sometimes we realise how much potential was left untapped when we were younger. Sometimes, we see no future... or a bleak one. Sometimes we fall and fall and wonder if we will ever be out of a cycle of sin. Sometimes our dreams are broken. Sometimes our ambitions bashed. Sometimes, we wonder why we aren't excited like we were at camps or conferences. Sometimes we are hurt by others, other times by ourselves. Sometimes the pressures in life squeze and choke us. Sometimes we want to give up. Sometimes we live in desperation... a desperation for hope.

But do not give up hope.
A man falls, but gets up again.
Live without shame of the past. For Jesus has beared it all and paid it through the justification of his blood on the cross.
Live without worry for the future. God is faithful. Are you not worth so much more than sparrows to God? Yet, not a sparrow falls without the Father knowing.
Live with HOPE! For Jesus has come to give LIFE and life more abundantly.

Live to pursue the pleasures of God!
