Update

Work
I know this situation is rare, but i'm enjoying my work.
First, reason - it's fun... I've been learning a lot of new stuff, being expose to much. I'm actually working for my uncle now, providing conference facilities. The new equipment and gadgets amazes me... i'm outdated - there is so much more out there - technology and all that. Well, I got a chance to meet M. Nasir and Anuar Zain.... meet many others too.

too be conitnued...

...Continuation

What have I been doing? Still working.
Being in the working world has really exposed me to so much. Not everything good. I've seen a lot of corruption in business, politics.... greed for money and cheating. I found out that a policeman can earn "interest" of RM200 a day by just collecting bribes from road offenders on "good days". Ivory Properties (a construction company) had an annual dinner, which the CEOs or Top managers had girls pushing an egg... through the pants... guess where the egg went....

Also... I've seen that the distinction between church and the circular world becoming a blur line. I've seen young factory workers jumping to a song almost as passionately as what I saw at the youth rally last year (mac11). Companies are taking certain blibical principles in leadership and aplying it in their training. They even have visions too, in which  top leaderships communicate to employees. I believe there needs to be a clear distinction between God's people and the world, just like in exodus 33... where God's presence is with us and the world know that we are God's people and we are different.

I guess to really be Making A Difference, we need to pray fervently in hope that God will come and be present with us - a presence that can be felt, known and desired by the people in this world.

Half Breeds...

Work is still fun though really tiring as I have to be out the whole day with barely 6 hours of sleep. But today is my last day.

Well, let me tell u guys a story. I was at Equotorial last nite for Agilent (a factory)'s annual dinner. The event coordinators hired a company named Fun Factory. They consisted of dancers. singers, MCs, and a DJ. Backstage, I was walking toward the control desk when I heard this lady speak in a man's voice... i was like "oh, a halfbreed"... thats quite normal right? Later on, I asked a fellow worker and he told me that he/she (the lady with the male voice) was the BOSS of Fun Factory... that became more interesting. Then the first performance, by dancers... which were also halfbreeds... and worst!! the singer, was also a halfbreed.... and he/she was telling the audience if her/his figure was helping them digest their food!!!. AHHH.... yuck...!! Literally, the whole company consist of half breeds, a few female dancers and 2 straight guys..haha... the sales personel and the DJ. It was quite suprising to see so many of them - worst part was they were on stage most of the time. The MC was the boss ... haih... Never knew that transexuality was such a "celebrated" thing that companies hire them to host their dinners. That's scary...

oh, ian.. you should have been there....haha, a start to your calling?
