Of piano and driving...

Just a month ago, I was dying to get my license. Now I'm sick of driving! Been the taxi driver the last one and a half weeks. Mom in USM and Dad working. So, the key was given to me with "smiles from my parents" - had to fetch brother and sister everywhere.

Anyway, been busy this last couple of days. Pressure and stress have build up on grade 8 piano exam this coming monday at E & O hotel. So much to work on - too short a time for preparation.

Yet admist all this, I'm still searching for what truely excites me. Youth, Worship, Passion, God. I've bee hearing a lot of good and encouraging news in the midst of my own discouragement. Met up and had a good chat with a few people, former president - Hannah Phoon, former youth pastor (3months) - Pastor Matthew and a few more. Of course, seeing Eu Wye and his passion again has re-inspired me (if theres such a word).

Some people have mention to me the 'dead atmosphere' in youth, spiritual life - not much excitement even among people. Well, don't you think it's time for changed? Time for revolution? Breaking the old tradition of dead - lifeless seasons when without programmes? Programmes are good but do not neccesary bring us closer to God...

"What does it take for evil to prevail? When good men do nothing"
* famous quote from someone I forgot

So...
"What does it take for the devil to prevail? when Godly men do nothing"

The famous brand of sport shoes says "Just do it" (Nike)
The 9spoon-sugared drink capable as toilet floor detergent says "CubaTry" (CocaCola)
Celcom says "It's in your hands"
DiGi thinks it is "Always the smarter choice"
BMW gives you "Sheer driving pleasure"
fireBRANDS determine to be "Youth with a difference"

So, I decided to have mine...

Judson - dedicated to be a man after God's own heart
- to be the centre of God's unfailing love
- to love God with all my heart, soul and mind
- to live in God-given freedom - purity and holiness - letting God use me
- to develop faith like then heroes in Hebrews 11

"...I have a dream"
quote Martin Luther King Jr.

a dream of being on tours throughout the planet
a dream of running youth rallies, big ones like Passion05
a dream of leading thousands, even millions in worship to God
a dream of challenging young people to reach out to the nations with their GodGiven potential and abilities

yet admist the big dreams

i desire to serve the young boy who lost his parents to some ethnic cleansers
to feed the hungry child, in famine stricken land
to comfort the hurting
to uphold true justice which is grace and mercy
that would make a bigger difference in the world, I guess

I guess the heart of God is really... the second more than the first...
