Agung and Mahatir in a week

Well, this last few days I met the King and former prime minister Dr. Mahatir. Cool huh? Today Dr. Mahatir gave a speech and I had the honour with the other prefects of PFS to usher him in with a guard of honour. Too bad I didn't shake his hand. I think all the others did. But this guy is a good speaker. During the Q & A, he answered the audiences' question very well. Those who tried to shoot him got shot back really bad. Admire his public speaking skills, though he can be cynical and sarcastic at times.
The King visited my school on Monday. Preparation for his visit really took up a lot of my time. Been so busy with two major events. Now waiting to get over with my piano exam. Not really ready for it.

Jazz vs Clasical

Today I joined with some clasical musicians, mainly violionist and a pianist to peform at the MGS jam session. So, they are the musicians that read notes (some of you might refer to it as 'taugeh') and I'm the one that fail my sight reading test. I dislike notes but they are dependent on it. Without it, they can't produce music. So, I played some 'rebelious music' according to them. A few of them thought it was 'chaos' without notes and I am 'nuts'. Well, I manage to convinced some of them of how to enjoy REAL music and not depend on notes. So, it was the Jazz vs Clasical war.
Well, MGS ochestra is not as bad as people seem to say though they were all out of tune and the conductor didn't seem to bother.

Update

Futball or should I say CaptainBall: Overall the event was fun. I thought the sarongs for the guys would drop but it did not. I later realise many of them cheated. Jim told me he tuck the sarong into his pants.
When the games started, I somehow knew we will end playing captain ball. Captain ball has become the trademark of the fireBRANDS. The girls won... with the help of some guys who decided to go for a temporary 'sex change'. The game was very funny, especially when the girls were all grinning away estatic about their 'victory' over the male gender. Eunice Lim told me it was a pride thing. I though guys only had pride. I was wrong. The world is really taking on a major change.

May Yin's preaching: May Yin's message on saturday (youth) was really good and... short (I was happy about it 'cause I was so sleepy. Hehe ). Her message made me do a check on myself again to see the motives of doing what I do. Is it just to be done with it or am I giving my best for God's glory?

Alien vs Predator (AVP): A bunch of us went to gurney to watch a movie. We ended up watching AVP because there was no other show. We guys even convinced the girls to watch it. May Yin and Jocelynn freaked out and Daniel Teoh screamed in the middle of the show. (note: not a horror movie, its a sci-fi action flick)
Well, I think the show has degraded the existence of humanity, more on a personal side. The story potrays man as slaves and nothing more than a manipulated race for the predators degrading the purpose of mankind and giving God (predators in the story) an image of a tyrant playing chess (humans and the aliens).
The show has a little morals though, but have been distorted by the larger picture of the story.
